    Introduction

Amir al-Mu'menan Ali (peace be upon him) as the only imam who had the possibility of forming an Islamic government in a short period of time, in order to build a society in accordance with the ideals and religious goals of Walhi, sought to provide its requirements. The only way that brings the ideal of government and a desirable religious society closer to the truth is the existence of exemplary people who form the components of this society.

In the eyes of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him), these people, who are mentioned in the present study as the ideal companions of Amir al-Mu'minan Ali (peace be upon him), have characteristics and characteristics that make them It has been approved by Hazrat Amir (peace be upon him).

In this dissertation, by examining the noble book of Nahj al-Balagheh, as a great lasting legacy of that Prophet, many indicators for the desired companions of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) have been collected and then these indicators have been categorized and divided into two general sections, basic and behavioral indicators.

Indices, the basis of which is more than 50 topics, in the two main sections of ethics and epistemology, and behavioral characteristics, were examined in 10 important topics. To analyze and explain each of these titles, a systematic process was started in three parts:

1 extracting phrases related to each of the titles of the indexes, from the book Nahj al-Balagha and categorizing them in order to obtain the view of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him), about each of the titles and translating the phrase based on Seyyed Jaafar Shahidi's translation.

2 From the insertion of phrases of Nahj al-Balagha, under each title, by using authentic explanations of Nahj al-Balagha, narrative books, dictionaries and other reliable sources, each of which explains the desired title in some way, the description and interpretation of the phrases was discussed. or the non-approval of His Holiness. By examining the performance of the desired companions, in order to show the possibility of achieving each of the characteristics, as a model and a model that can be presented, and the biography of these people can be set as a model for the followers of the path of truth..

After completing the three steps above, the large volume of materials caused a large part of them to be removed from the research process and to create brevity as well as the depth of the topics raised in the thesis, only the behavioral characteristics of the desirable companions of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) were examined, which were presented in 10 titles:

Insight, Commanding the famous and forbidding evil, recognizing and repelling sedition, seeking justice, striving for martyrdom, sincere jihad, knowing the truth and following it, knowing the quality of the relationship with the world, stability and piety.

For the basic indicators for the desired companions of Hazrat Amir (peace be upon him), just mentioning their titles and also including an example of the words of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), below each title is sufficient.

It should be noted that in the general part of the thesis (Chapter 1), there is a title called "Introduction of sources" in which some of the sources that are referred to in this thesis are introduced. This section is arranged in four parts, which are, in the order of their use in this research, the introduction:

Commentary on Nahj al-Balagheh, historical books, narrative books, dictionary books. With the hope that this research will show devotion to the holy place of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and light a way for the followers of the school. May the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) make it their goal to walk the path of happiness and perfection. rtl;">

Since the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (peace be upon him), the measure and standard of truth, and the path of that Imam is the basis of duty, and the true Shia is the one whose faith and actions are approved and accepted by the Infallible (peace be upon him), therefore, explaining the characteristics of desirable companions from the point of view of that great divine authority, is in fact presenting the best examples of reaching perfection for those who wish.

Also considering the fact that Mullah Muttaqiyan Ali (peace be upon him) is the only imam who held the leadership of the Islamic community for several years, and due to the fact that the number of his desired companions was not such that the holy being could implement his divine policies with their support in the society as he wants, in this era when, by the grace of God, the guardianship system is established in our Islamic country, the establishment of the desired characteristics of that Imam Hammam among the people, He will be the guarantor of the survival of the holy system of the Islamic Republic and the happiness and salvation of our nation.
