    Introduction (problem statement):

Married life includes various aspects from financial issues to sexual and emotional relationships, which is associated with maintaining relative independence in the direction of personal development, the flourishing of the talents and capabilities of the parties, and gives meaning and identity to life (1). If the cultural, social, economic, moral, psychological and occupational factors are ignored in married life, the couple will not be happy in life, and there may be wandering and stopping of personal growth and self-awareness (2). Marital satisfaction predicts the mental health of married people and plays a major role in educating people and enriching their abilities (3). Satisfied marital relationships cause the development of competence, adaptability and adaptability of people, and these people generally have a long life and healthy and optimal nutrition, suffer from depression and psychological problems less, and have children who are more adaptable and with a better educational status, they also turn to alcohol and drugs less, and in case of cancer, there is a greater chance of survival (4).

Marital satisfaction 1 has different areas such as husband and wife's mutual understanding of each other's behavior and characteristics (contractual response) 2, their attitude towards the role of communication in married life (marital relationship) 3, how to resolve conflicts and conflicts (conflict resolution) 4, the level of satisfaction with family financial management (financial management) 5, agreement on how to use free time (leisure-related activities) 6 7, satisfaction with sexual and emotional relationships (sexual relations) 7, agreement about having children and a realistic understanding of the impact of children on marital relationships (marriage and children) 8, coordination of feelings and interests related to friends and relatives (relatives and friends) 9, satisfaction with different marital roles (roles related to the equality of men and women) 10 and religious beliefs and practices

(ideological orientation) is 1 in married life (5) as religious beliefs play an important role in marital satisfaction (6). The evaluation of these areas can describe the potential problems of couples and determine the areas of their strength and strengthening in life (7). Couples who have more flexibility, adaptability and solidarity (personality issues) 2 have more marital satisfaction and have a positive and consistent correlation between marital satisfaction and components such as leisure time, convergence in issues related to children, marriage, family and friends (8). Couples who spend more free time together and have common hobbies, have more verbal and emotional communication with each other, and have more stable physical and mental health, and will ultimately be more likely to achieve satisfaction (9).

With regard to the new industrial society, the need for men and women to be outside the home for employment, earning, transferring economic, educational, and educational functions to other institutions; It has caused the transformation of the institution of family and profession and the separation of the two from each other (10). The mixing of family and work roles causes physical and mental pressure and the result of work-family conflict, which affects the quality of work and family health (11). The first areas affected by this conflict are marital satisfaction and job satisfaction, and negative consequences such as reduced health for the couple, inefficiency of maternal, paternal, and conjugal duties, reduced marital satisfaction, and a negative impact on mental health will follow. Also, the impact of these damages in organizations is reduced productivity, reduced job satisfaction of employees, increased tardiness and absenteeism of employees from work, increased withdrawal and reduced organizational commitment (12). In the case of a family where both spouses are working, it has been determined: women who have higher job satisfaction enjoy their married life more than housewives; But it should be noted that working women also bring home their work stress and problems (13).

Among the jobs that have been active all day and night since late, there are jobs that work in the field of therapeutic issues and are related to patients. Nurses are the main part of the human resources of the health system.   Long-term nursing job stress can not only cause marital problems, but can also lead to job burnout, reduced efficiency, reduced effectiveness at work, high absenteeism from the department, reduced patient satisfaction, leaving the nursing profession, alcohol and drug abuse, depression and even suicide in nurses (14). In this regard, Landa 1 showed that with increasing work pressure, marital dissatisfaction also increases (15). In attention to nurses, exposure to various stressors in the workplace for the purpose of providing health and welfare to patients, professional responsibilities in the home environment, and multiplicity of roles in several psychological and physical injuries makes them vulnerable to direct and indirect injuries; so understanding the factors related to employment such as shift work can improve the validity and efficiency of this force is important in human.
