    Abstract:

The present study aims to determine the relationship between the level of physical activity, physical fitness factors and body composition of female students of Al-Zahra University. (Farhangian) Semnan was conducted.

In this cross-sectional study, the research population included all female students of Al-Zahra Campus of Farhangian University of Semnan province, from which 177 people were randomly selected to conduct the research. After performing medical examinations and completing the consent form, height and weight were tested to calculate body mass index, waist to hip ratio, physical fitness factors such as muscle endurance (extension), flexibility (forward bending), cardiovascular endurance (Cooper test) and agility (Illinois test). Information about the amount of physical activity of people was also collected using a short form physical activity questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 statistical software and by calculating descriptive statistics and Pearson's and Spearman's correlation tests at a significant level (P>0.05). Findings: According to the results, the participating students were between 19 and 25 years old and their body mass index was between 16.23 and 39.76. The physical activity level of cardiovascular endurance students (r=0.17 and p=0.01) showed a significant relationship with agility (r=0.19 and p=0.009) and abdominal muscle endurance (r=0.17 and p=0.01), while no significant relationship was observed between the level of physical activity with body composition and other indicators of physical fitness. The results of this research showed that there is a significant relationship between the body mass index of people with cardiovascular endurance (r=0.27 and p=0.001), agility (r=0.195 and p=0.009) and abdominal muscle endurance (r=0.28 and p=0.001). But its relationship with flexibility is not significant. This is while the ratio of waist circumference to hip circumference shows a significant relationship only with abdominal muscle endurance (r=0.17 and p=0.02) and its relationship with other indicators of physical fitness is not statistically significant.

Conclusion: The present study showed that the body mass index and the level of physical activity have a strong relationship with some indicators of physical fitness, while the level of physical activity of students and their body composition have no relationship. It did not show statistics.

    1- Statement of the problem:

Great advances in technology and mechanization of life are the characteristics of today's modern world. The consequence of the mechanization of life is the poverty of movement, which is one of the most important problems of today's mankind from the point of view of health. Inactivity is a global public health problem and the main risk factor for high blood pressure, high blood sugar, abnormal blood fat, overweight, obesity and major chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes (Nouri et al., 2011). On the other hand, the level of immobility is high in all developed and developing countries. The few researches that have been conducted in Iran indicate the high level of inactivity in our country (Nouri et al., 2013). For example, based on the results of the study, the rate of inactivity in the urban population of Yazd province is 65.8% (in men, 81.6% and in women, 54.4%) (Motfekar et al., 2007). gave In recent years, researchers have considered physical activity as one of the priorities of public health and stated that adequate and regular physical activity is one of the main factors in maintaining and promoting health throughout the life cycle (Kousins ??et al.[1], 2010). They also introduced inactivity as one of the risk factors of obesity and warned against its growth in human societies (Galbardes et al.[2], 2003). Nutrition and medical experts have predicted that if people's lifestyles do not change, the number of obese people will exceed 2.3 billion by 2015.Various factors such as inappropriate way of life, modernization and development of urbanization and low level of physical fitness may be related to the prevalence of obesity (Nuri et al., 2013).

On the other hand, it has been proven for human societies today that better adaptation to the environment requires a balance of physical fitness and body composition in the individual, and if people do not have favorable conditions in terms of physical condition and body composition, they usually become aloof, pessimistic and isolated. They will not have proper mental balance (Hassel and Bledsen[3], 1991).

Recent researches show that appropriate and continuous exercises increase the amount of strength, muscular endurance, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, and reduce body fat, and removing and abandoning it, especially in childhood and adolescence, causes the vital organs to suffer from weakness and disability, inefficiency, limited movement, and premature fatigue. (Gaini and Moini, 1380).

Sports activity has a significant impact on improving the health of society. Therefore, in order to increase the quality and lifestyle, physical activity should be done regularly and with appropriate intensity (Etimad and Ismail Nasab, 2013).

Despite the general belief about the effect of daily activities on people's physical composition, different researches have reported different results. Rabkin et al. [4] (1997) showed that there is a significant inverse relationship between physical activity and BMI. But Zalila[5] et al. (2006) compared the level of physical activity of 11 to 15-year-old Malaysian teenagers in three groups of thin, normal and overweight, and did not observe any significant differences. Hasapidou et al.[6] (2006) also did not observe a significant difference in the amount of physical activity of adolescents living in northern Greece in two groups of people with normal weight and obese. Although race and environment can affect the results of these researches, the findings of domestic researchers in this field also contradict each other (Broghani et al., 2013). Due to the importance of the subject, evaluating the body composition in order to determine its optimal level for healthy living and vitality is of great importance (Alipour and Hojjati, 2013). Considering that body measurement indicators are influenced by factors such as gender, age, ethnicity, social culture, and economic status, and considering the risks caused by low physical fitness and abnormalities, body composition in the health of individuals and the society in general, it seems necessary to enjoy a healthy society and to know the risk factors (Ziaei et al., 2016). Body composition is an important factor in health and fitness. Body composition is determined by measuring different factors, such as body mass index (BMI and the ratio of hip circumference to abdominal circumference (WHR), which indicates abdominal obesity (Khalili et al., 1379). body composition in female students of Al-Zahra University campus (Educational) was conducted of Semnan.

In this study, the research community, cross, including all the female students was Educational University Al-Zahra campus of the Semnan, 177 were randomly selected were chosen to carry out the research. Index, waist-to-hip ratio, muscular endurance (Sit), flexibility (bending forward), cardiovascular endurance (Cooper test) and agility (Aili test of noise) individuals were analyzed. Information about the amount of physical activity was collected using International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) short form. Data analyzed using SPSS 21 software parameters to calculate descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation test at significant levels (p<0.05) were analyzed. physical activity among students of cardiovascular endurance (r = 0.
