    Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between organizational justice and its dimensions with violence in the workplace.               This research is descriptive and correlational. The research sample consisted of 150 personnel of the General Department of Sports and Youth of Fars province who were selected by a simple random method. A combined questionnaire was used to collect data (organizational justice questionnaire and workplace violence questionnaire). SPSS version 18 statistical software and descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the findings. The findings of the research showed that there is an inverse relationship between organizational justice and its dimensions including (distributive justice, procedural justice and relational justice) and violence in the workplace. The results of this research show that in order to reduce the level of violence in the workplace, attention should be paid to public education, the level of employee participation and employee motivation.

    Chapter One

    General research

    1-1- Introduction

One ??of the most important value issues and attention and emphasis of human resources management is organizational justice. Paying attention to this shows the importance that managers attach to human resources as one of the most valuable assets. On the other hand, in a competitive environment, organizations seek customer satisfaction and attract them, which is necessary for their survival and continuity (Zinali Soumae, 2013). This is not possible, unless special attention is paid to organizational justice, because justice is known as the factor of life and survival of organizations and social systems (Pour Ezzat, 2011).

Today, organizational justice has been paid more attention to human resources management, because the success of any organization, especially service organizations, depends on the way employees interact with customers and clients. The necessity and importance of observing organizational justice is considered more due to the important role of employees in providing services to customers and gaining their satisfaction in the field of personnel issues, because the organization's fair treatment of employees leads to the interaction and proper treatment of the organization's employees with customers and clients, and ultimately increases their loyalty and satisfaction, which guarantees the organization's survival in the long term (Zinali Soumeh, 2013).

Violence is one of the acute social issues. It is considered that it is observed in all geographical regions and among all religious and racial groups and at all educational, occupational, economic and social levels. Media reports and the results of various researches in most countries of the world, including Smith and Sharp [1] (1995), Olveus [2] (1992), show that violence has increased and become more serious in recent years and includes a range of intentional violent physical, mental, emotional, and verbal acts that leave a negative impact on a person's physical and mental health and self-understanding. In today's society, due to reasons such as the spread of poverty, lack of attention to spiritual and human issues, the tendency to have fun, the fall of the family and educational values, and finally, the spread of mechanism has caused pessimism and fear of the future, and ultimately violence and aggression (Alami et al., 2007). In the course of the life of every human being, problems may arise, and no human being is exempt from this. Some people do not have the ability to face problems and issues, and this causes them to be inefficient and vulnerable when dealing with situations or even in normal situations (Doostdar et al., 2014, quoted by Shiroudi, Khaltabari, Todar, Molabhi, and Salehi, 2016). Aggression has been so common in human life that humans have taken it for granted (Barazjanian, 2010, quoted by Saghati, Shafiabadi and Soudani, 2017). Anger is a satisfying and at the same time destructive emotion (Hafzi and Khajuni, 2019). Arblaster [3] says that the act of violence is that which takes the damage; harm or damage to humans or non-humans or an object (Basnet [4], 1999).Glaser (1999) believes that violence includes the perpetrator and the victim, and therefore it may be defined as a physical response to another person (Alami et al., 2017).

In recent years, violence in the workplace has attracted the attention of many industrial and organizational psychology researchers due to its psychological and physical consequences for employees and irreparable material consequences for organizations. All over the world, violence in the workplace is considered as a harmful factor for mental health, which is associated with things such as harassment, assault, harassment, insults, sexual harassment, and finally murder (Kellovi, Barling, Haverle [5], 2006). which is expressed by titles such as harassment, beating, harassment, insult, sexual harassment and finally murder (US Occupational Health and Safety Act, quoted by Mehdad et al., 2012). not been. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between organizational justice and its dimensions are related to violence in the workplace. This descriptive, correlational study skins.
