    Abstract:

In this research, the effects of talent scouting of young elite soccer players based on the effects of psychological characteristics and empowerment in technical performance It has been addressed and the main question has been formulated as follows: What is the contribution and role of psychological characteristics (intelligence and personality) and empowerment on the sports performance of young elite football players? The research method is field research and it is in the field of descriptive research. The research population is considered to be all the young elite football players who were selected from nine regions and participated in the multi-sided youth national team selection tournament at the Shahid Bahnar camp and in the final youth national team selection tournament with the presence of 5 national youth teams of Iran, North-West, North-East, South and Center, which was held in Sari in May 2013, and there are 200 people. Therefore, sampling was not done and by using the assumptions of full enumeration or census research, the entire research population was considered as the statistical population. The measurement tool is the new version of the Tehran-Stanford-Bineh intelligence test (TSB-R) by Afrooz and Kamkari (2009), the reconstructed form of the Minnesota Multifaceted Personality Questionnaire-2 (MMPI-2RF) by Kamkari and Shokarzadeh (2009) and the Empowerment Questionnaire (Kariminejad, 2010), which have good validity and reliability. Finally, using the multivariate regression statistical model, the research questions were tested and the research findings showed that there is a significant positive relationship between "fluid reasoning", "quantitative reasoning" and "visual-spatial processing" and the components of "meaningfulness", "autonomy", empowerment and "(total) empowerment" with "performance" and a significant negative relationship between "emotional failure", "behavioral failure", "morale deficiency", "positive emotions" Below", there are "biting and harassing thoughts", "hypomanic activities", "anger talent", "death-suicidal thoughts" and "aggression" with "performance". style="direction: rtl;">1.1. Introduction

Sports psychology is a relatively new field that began to evolve simultaneously in different parts of the world in the early years of the 20th century. The flourishing of this field was the result of increasing interest in sports in the society, and now the research on the psychology of sports and the use of this science is expanding. Sports psychology in practice is a scientific and professional field that deals with different dimensions of individual behavior during sports and activities. Sports psychology includes the correct selection and motivation of athletes so that each athlete can compete at the highest level of his ability (Keshgar, 2017).

In the field of sports psychology, on the one hand, sports performance and on the other hand, psychological factors such as personality and intelligence are addressed, and applied sports psychologists always try to be able to develop Psychological abilities of athletes improve their sports performance (Mokhtari, 2017).

Discussions such as mental health, sports motivation, cognitive ability, emotion management and self-esteem are considered as psychological constructs that are used in both sports management and sports psychology. It should be possible to design and compile new methods to identify the effects of emotion management on sports performance and mental health of athletes, and in this way, it is possible to provide a suitable platform for improving sports performance and mental health (Kamkari, 2016). In the research conducted on the factors affecting sports success, it has been determined that psychological factors can affect sports performance (Bashart, 2014) and its skills play a decisive role in skill sports (Shahin Tebab, 2016), all athletes in every sport face various psychological factors (Taylor, 2001), but young elite football players face special challenges. deal with.

It is worth noting that psychological factors, in addition to affecting sports performance, are also effective on sports success. The most scientific and academic research in this field is by Scanman and Pasteur [1] (1978), Smitha [2] (1980), Simon and Martens [3] (1979) and Landers (1980), who suggest that personality traits such as high excitement can disturb the mental health of athletes and affect their performance, so that they lose their attention and concentration, stress They experience a lot and suffer from tension and anxiety.

By reviewing relevant research in the field of cognitive factors and its relationship with sports performance, it can be found that psychological factors provide a suitable platform for increasing mental health (Jirsarai, 1389; Gholamshahi, 1389) and also, destructive psychological factors such as state-competitive anxiety can be easily controlled and emotion management can be increased in order to improve sports performance. increase (Kamkari and Shekarzadeh, 2018).

In addition to psychological factors, other variables that lead to increased performance are empowerment; Empowerment is a concept that was first introduced in the 1980s. In the 90s, there has been a lot of interest in this concept among researchers, academics, and management and organization practitioners (Spritzer [4], 1995). This concept, which is multi-dimensional, is defined according to the perceptions and beliefs of employees regarding their own role in their jobs and organizations, and it assigns various psychological states such as competence[5], a sense of influence[6], a sense of autonomy[7], a sense of self-confidence[8] and a sense of meaningfulness[9] (Abdolahi and Noh Ebrahim, 2016).

Researchers, Empowerment Human resources have been considered to mean management actions and strategies such as delegating authority and decision-making power to lower levels of the organization, sharing employees with information and their access to organizational resources (Blanchard et al. 1997). Quinn and Spritzer [10] (1997) called this type of view of empowerment the mechanical approach, but since the 1990s, theorists and experts in organizational psychology consider human resource empowerment a complex and multidimensional concept and have distinguished between situational characteristics (management actions) and employees' perception of these characteristics (Thomas and Wolthaus [11], 1990). Kangaroo and Kanango [12] (1998) have proposed that management actions are only sets of conditions that can empower employees, but this is not necessarily the case. Delegation of authority and decision-making power by superior managers to lower level employees does not mean empowerment (Kriminjad, 2018). Therefore, in the present research, talent identification of elite young footballers has been done based on the effects of psychological characteristics and empowerment in technical performance, so that it can be determined which of the psychological characteristics and empowerment leads to an increase in the performance of footballers.

    2.1. Statement of the problem

There are various uncertainties surrounding the cognitive factors affecting sports performance, which still cannot be defined as the psychological characteristics that determine the performance of elite football athletes. Therefore, the weakness of theoretical knowledge and the contradiction of research background about the influence of psychological factors are the source of the present problem.

In the field of sports psychology, sports performance is addressed on the one hand and psychological factors on the other hand, and applied sports psychologists always try to improve their sports performance by developing the psychological capabilities of elite athletes. The various methods used by sports psychologists to improve sports performance are influenced by defined psychological characteristics and include all psychological measures in sports fields. Cognitive intelligence and mental health can be mentioned, which are defined as psychological characteristics and are considered one of the most important activities of applied sports psychologists; Because these people seek not only to increase the psychological functions of athletes by identifying psychological characteristics including intelligence and mental health, but also to improve sports performance and to be able to bring significant success to athletes in competitive fields (Shahintaba, 2019).
