    Chapter One

    (general research)

The issue of free time has been the concern of mankind for a long time, and the studies carried out show that humans have been constantly looking for solutions in this regard. Currently, this attention and sensitivity has not only not decreased, but its importance has also increased due to several reasons. Some of these reasons are: the growth and development of machine life, reduction of working hours and activity, raising the level of human awareness and knowledge, and the most important and effective of all, cultural transformations and the specific formation of human desires and interests. Based on this, social and individual decisions about free time are considered a significant part of human life today, it is impossible to ignore it. In such a way that many countries of the world, using the results of research and studies, seek to find suitable models for the optimal use of leisure time in their societies (Karakhanlou, 79).

Although leisure time is a word that has gained meaning and exemplification in human life after the dominance of technological civilization, leisure is not a word that was invented after the advent of machine civilization, but the meaning found in this era is completely new. (Farah Elahi, Nusratullah 1373).

According to the definition provided by the International Sociology Group about leisure: leisure is a set of activities that a person engages in with satisfaction, for rest, recreation, development of awareness or non-profit learning and voluntary social participation after freeing himself from work, family and social requirements (Esadi, 1352).

With the progress of the industry through automatic devices, working hours have been reduced and leisure time has been increased, and in this regard, on the one hand, energy and strength are not released during these hours, and on the other hand, the increasing increase of individual and social roles in the advanced industrial world brings an increase in anxiety and mental fatigue. Therefore, the subject of leisure time has become one of the great problems of today's industrialized and advanced world, and on this basis, historically, in the category of sociology, and especially in the present era, in psychology and sociology, leisure time has always been considered as a sensitive issue. (Farah Elahi, Nusratullah 1373)

Decent use of free time depends on accurate planning and appropriate to needs and successful implementation.Planning leisure time cannot be something independent and unrelated to other times, but must be related to the big plans of life and be supportive, open the way, and lay the foundation for it. (Safania, Ali Mohammad, 1380)

Quantitative and qualitative review of leisure programs will be a good guide for executives and practitioners to take advantage of the results of such reviews, while being aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the program, and continuously move towards a desirable and targeted situation. How to spend free time in national athletes, especially athletes, who according to Iranian culture and nationality should fill their free time according to the customs and traditions of the society. It is of special importance. Leisure time can be considered as the most important and pleasant time of human beings (Jalali Farahani, Majid 2007)

Examining the programs of spending leisure time among athletes in the conditions that they are in the camp and away from their families will be a good guide for the analysis and analysis of the behavior, personality and even the diagnosis of the athlete's efficiency. was While running to save his life from the harm of animals and throwing stone objects at them for hunting, he also performed actions similar to jumping and crossing obstacles, and athletics materials based on these natural and primitive situations were gradually recognized and took place as competitions in Olympiads and old sports scenes. Today, this field is one of the main ingredients of the Olympics, and its variety is such that athletes from all countries of the world are actively participating in it (Bayat, Mohammadreza, 2019). Athletics[1] has a special place among common sports today, the value and prestige of this sport, especially in advanced societies, has various reasons. The universality and the role of running in maintaining health and the help that running provides in the prevention and even treatment of some common diseases today are among the advantages that this field has and has caused the masses and different classes of people to pay attention to it on a wide level in order to help their health. Another characteristic of athletics training is its role and effect in the physical fitness of athletes in other sports. Variety and change in the intensity, duration and distance of running can improve different energy systems, especially aerobic fitness, which is one of the important factors of physical fitness, and most coaches consider running as one of the basic exercises in their athletes' training plans. Ernst Vanaken[2], a German doctor and sports coach, proposed continuous running training around 1960 and pointed out its positive effects for the physical fitness of athletes in various fields outside of the competition season (ASDI, 1352). Also, Astrand[3], a Swedish physiologist, considers running with a combination of Fartlek[4] and interval[5] training methods to be an effective way to improve and maintain the physical fitness of athletes. (Asadi, AD 1352). Anyway, various factors such as strength, speed, endurance and athletics are formed from the two words athletics and include all the materials that are performed on the track or road (runs) and on the sides around the track (throws). Various athletics materials are also divided into several groups:

    a) running b) jumps c) throws d) walking e) combined materials

(men's decathlon and women's heptathlon) (Bayat, Mohammadreza 1379).

Leisure time plays an important role in human well-being. Javelin athletes, like other sections of society, need to use their free time optimally. Physical fitness is only one of the factors that contribute to the success of runners. There are three main factors for physical fitness.

Exercise, nutrition and rest are equally important. Negligence in the implementation of any of these factors will limit the positive impact of other factors. For example, not having enough rest can prevent the positive performance of proper diet and professional exercises. Athletics is considered as the mother of sports, and professional athletes in any discipline must go through a cycle of athletics training to prepare themselves and bring their bodies to the optimal level.
