    Analysis of similes in the first five hundred ghazals of Shirazi's Divan Vasal

    Abstract:

    Similarity is one of the main elements of fantasy that poets and writers have used to express their mental images more beautifully. In this research, the beauty of Wasal's imagery in the field of similes in the first five hundred sonnets of his divan has been discussed. First, the verses that have similes were extracted, and then they were analyzed in terms of the type of similes, similes, sensory and intellectual aspects, as well as singular, compound, and limited ones, and finally, the result was presented in the form of a diagram. Among the types of simile, emphatic simile has the highest frequency, and due to the poet's special attention to feelings, therefore, the simile is more sensory and intellectual than the sensory to sensory type, and the simile is more than individual to individual, which can be seen as the reason for the simplicity of the poet's thought and thought, which is far from complexity and ambiguity, and similes such as imaginary, literal, and conditional are not seen in it.

    Introduction:

    Embellishing words with literary ornaments among poets and writers is an expression of their ability and ability, and in this, simile has a special place in relation to It has imagination to other elements. How many people at different scientific and literary levels use this element of fantasy in their daily life and it has a special place among people.

    Literary artists have a special view of the outside and inside world and their perception of the world around them has its own beauty and differences can be seen depending on the different social environments, customs, styles and periods in which they live. Poets have created a gallery in their minds with various images, and they use imaginary images to visualize these beautiful images in their minds, among which simile has a special place.

    Simile is one of the main elements of imaginary images in the literature of every nation, from which other forms take inspiration, because the basis of imaginary images is based on simile, metaphor, irony, and even code, and it is one of the most The most useful topics of aesthetics are known in the direction of ease of understanding the meaning, and it is in this way that imagery can be developed a lot, thus simile is one of the prominent elements of beauty in the words of writers and poets. Although scholars and scholars of rhetoric have different opinions about simile and its types from the past to now, but the author in this research work has tried to base his work on the prevailing opinions that are taught in universities and educational institutions. In this collection, numbers have been used for convenience, especially in the similes of al-Maluf, al-Mafaruq, summation, and settlement, in which several similes and similes are used, so each number corresponds to its corresponding number in specifying the elements of the simile. In this research, similes are examined in order from the beginning of the ghazals.

    This thesis is organized in four chapters.

    The first chapter: a look at the life, works and style of Wasal.

    The second chapter: Similes.

    The third chapter: Review Similes in the opening five hundred sonnets of Shirazi's Diwan Vasal. 

    The fourth chapter: Conclusion.

    Research method:

    This research, based on the purpose, is a set of basic-theoretical research. The information related to the thesis has been collected through scanning books and authentic scientific articles. The research method in this research is descriptive-analytical.

    Research objectives:

    The main goal in this thesis is to express the elegance and beauty of simile as one of the imaginative elements in Wasal Shirazi's poetry, which can be a way for literary science seekers in the field of expression.

    Research background:

    So far, as far as the author has investigated, there has not been a separate research on the topic of similes in Wasal's sonnets, but on the subject of imaginary images in his sonnets, there is the following thesis, which deals with the element of simile in a general way, but in this research, the author details the similes in the first five hundred sonnets.     Vasal Shirazi is one of the poets and writers of the Asr Qajar era and a follower of the literary return style.           .    Wasal's name is Muhammad Shafi, his nickname is Mirza Kochuk, and he is called Wasal (1192-1262 A.H.) is one of the greatest poets of the period of literary return, who opened his eyes to the world in Shiraz. His father Muhammad Ismail is the son of Muhammad Shafi Ibn Mirza Ismail. There is no information about his ancestors. When he reached an old age, he became a dervish and became poor. When the time of exile came, at the suggestion of his mentor "Mirza Abulqasem Sekot" he made peace. In literary sciences, divine wisdom, meanings and mathematical techniques, especially in the science of music, he found a high rank and had a favorable reputation. If he said something in praise of the elders of his age, it was to test his character, and with his high character, he was not thinking of rewards and blessings, and he provided his living expenses from the calligraphy of books and the gift of God's words. At the age of thirty-two, she got married to one of her relatives and had six children named: Ahmad Waqar, Mahmoud Hakim, Mohammad Davari, Abolqasem Farhang, Ismail Tohido Abdulwahab Yazdani.  Vasal became blind at the end of his life and died in the year 1262 and rested next to Hazrat Shah Chirag (Ahmed bin Musa Al-Kazem) in Shiraz.     1-1- Vasal's works:

    Vasal is one of the great poets who has valuable works in various scientific fields, which shows his intellectual genius and proficiency in various sciences. 

    "The books he composed in prose and order are one in wisdom and speech in order and prose, and the other is in the speech of Hakim Farabi in the science of music and in literature and rules of prosody. A book on the interpretation of the hadiths of Qudsiyeh in verse and prose is called Safina and another is called Sobh Wasal in the style of Sheikh Saadi's Golestan, and he has completed a part of Bafaki's wild Khosrowshirin. The book "Bazm Wasal Beh Bahr" is written in 7000 verses. Diwan of his poems totals thirty thousand verses, two thousand verses of which are in Al-Abba's Lament. His sonnets are of three types: a part in answer to Saadi and a part in answer to Hafez, and the inventions of his thoughts are in other collections, which are mostly in advice and wisdom. 

     

    Abstract

    One ??of the main element of the imagery is simile that Poets and writers have imparted it to beautiful expression of their mental image. in this study I have proceeded the expression of beauty product illustration of simile in the first five hundred sonnets of his poetical. First verses that have simile have extracted and then have investigated in terms of the kind of simile, providing like vadat and being sensory and intellectual and also being single, compound and bound. Finally the result presented as a diagram. Among the types of simile, emphasized simile the maximum frequency is allocated and for his special attention to the sensations, the simile of the sensory and intellectual is most of intuitive sense (sensory anesthesia) and also simile for the people is singular in singular which can be simply, because it is Poet's mind that had been far from negligible and complexity and cannot be seen similes such as bizarre (unreal), letters and Provided (Provisional) in it.
