Description of the chapters in the poems of prominent poets of the Khorasani style

    By: Seyed Hashem Hashmi

    Summary

One ??of the important characteristics of the Khorasani style of poetry, which attracts attention in almost all the poets of this period, is the description of the seasons. This issue is so important that it can be called one of the most important elements of poetry in the Khorasani style.

In the divan of most of the poets of this period, especially Rudaki, Farrokhi, Manochehri, and Elenari, the seasons are described in the most beautiful way. These poets have depicted the seasons of the year in a beautiful format with their own special perspective.

In this thesis, the researcher has analyzed and examined all the constituent elements of the seasons described by these capable poets by citing poetic evidence.

The most important achievement that was obtained from this research was this. The poets of the Khorasani style described spring more than the seasons, and such descriptions are more visible in Manochehri's poems than others.

The dominant element in Rodaki's poetic images, which is representative of the Samani period poetry, is the description of the seasons. Almost in most of the verses of this poet, there is at least one natural element that makes up the seasons.   Most of the constituent elements of the seasons in Farrokhi's poetry are devoted to birds and animals. In the poems of Manochehri and Elementi, the most attention is paid to flowers and plants.

Key words: Fosul, Rudaki, Farrokhi, Manochehri, Elementi, Khorasani style, description

    Introduction

Description from the lexical point of view means praising, praising, describing something and saying its features. The poets of Khorasani style, who lived in a nature full of greenery and joy, have described the world as full of freshness and newness along with hope for life in their works. Poems of poets such as Rodaki, Manochehri, Farrokhi and Elementi are extroverted and open-minded, and their works mention all kinds of flowers, birds, plains, gardens, and forests. In particular, the simile is very strong. The poetry of the fourth century is the most fertile period of Persian literature in terms of sensory images and direct poetic experiences. In terms of the variety of visual contexts, the poets of this period, with the freedom of their imagination, impose many poetic ideas on Persian literature, which are repeated for centuries with different possessions in the poetry of later poets, and the later poets sometimes see natural phenomena from the eyes and imaginative perspective of the poets of this period. (Shafi'i Kodkani, 1383:405)

Due to the courtly nature of most of the poets, the poetic images of this period are only images for self-introduction, and if sometimes the poet has another goal, usually nothing else, such as praise, that is why the poets we are discussing usually use similes (sensible to tangible, both singular and compound) and the use of sensible to tangible simile is rare.

"Descriptions are also strong in Khorasani style. The most detailed natural phenomena such as: cloud, rain, snow, rainbow, storm, flood and lightning, in the detailed descriptions of the poets of this style, simile is the most common means of description that is included in their poetry. In general, the naturalism of the poets of this period has caused them to describe the details of nature, and their method in this field of simile is complex and detailed. (Shamisa, 72:1376)

Manochehri is one of the great poets of the Khorasan style, who has described the seasons wonderfully, and his poetry is a description of the nature he observed. Manochehri's attention to the constituent elements of the seasons has a higher frequency than the other poets under discussion.

Ansari is one of the greatest masters of odes and eulogies of the fifth century, but the Persian language pays more attention to spring among the different seasons of the year.

Although for specific reasons that will be mentioned, Ansari does not have much in common with the description of the seasons, and in fact such descriptions in poetry There is not much color and polish in the element, but he leaves no stone unturned in describing the seasons. Zamshekboi Saba

Farokhi creates the scenes in describing the seasons and the reader imagines the scenes bit by bit by reading his poems. The connection of the elements of nature in Farrokhi's poetry is well defined and bold, like many nature poets. Farrokhi simply pours the images he sees from nature in the form of odes and achieves a pleasant and excellent work. He has remarkable verses in describing the spring garden, and in fact, he has created a series of different images in which similes play a strange and seductive role. rtl;">
