"Evaluation of the effectiveness of work teams in Rizco Holding Group"

    Statement of the problem

Rizco Holding Group, with more than 2,000 employees, is one of the largest industrial component manufacturers in Iran, which produces plastic parts for various industries, including the automotive industry. The group's macro goals, which are determined in the strategic council, have different executive groups at different levels, and different meetings are held for greater coordination between members. Also, meetings are held between factories at different managerial and expert levels so that working groups of the same rank and purpose, with the presence of managers from different groups, can work together to solve common problems, coordinate between groups and units, or to complete a project in the short or long term.

Objectives: educational, administrative, financial, purchasing and sales, production, maintenance and repairs, logistics and quality have regular meetings, and in the meetings of various projects, their policies, definition and implementation are controlled. Are all these groups and teams efficient? Do they hold purposeful meetings and the results of their work are favorable? Do all members participate in decision-making and help each other? Are team skills enough? And is the continuation of this pattern correct or not? And a few more of these questions that led us to consider and investigate these cases.

    Prevention of rework

Theoretical definition: Rework means the re-implementation of the decision-making and implementation process, which is minimized in the team because all team members benefit from the skills, knowledge and sharing of decision-making facilities and resources in the team equally, and this reduces rework (team building, author Dovid E. Votan, translated by Dr. Badruddin Orei Yazdani, publisher of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Energy, 1382 edition).

4- Creating a context for cooperation among employees

Theoretical definition: Communication and socializing are the nature of the bond between team members, which leads to the creation of mutual trust, removal of possible ambiguities, empathy and thinking of all team members towards the same goal and result (17 principles of teamwork, authored by John Maxwell, translated by Aziz Kiavand, publisher of Management Farda) , 7th edition).

    5- Increase commitment

Theoretical definition: Commitment is the dedication of all team members in line with the common goal or goals set in the team. Commitment is actually the stimulus that drives us towards our goals. (Foundations of Teamwork, authored by Dr. Iraj Soltani, Arkan Publishing House, 1384 first edition)

Theoretical definition: Conflict is a social situation in which two or more people either do not agree on issues related to the organization or show some emotional hostility towards each other (Shamhorn 1994, The source of the Internet).

Conflict is a process in which the general effort of person A to neutralize the efforts of person B through obstruction leads to the inability and failure of person B to achieve his goals or increase his resources (Organizational Behavior, Stephen. P. Robbins, translators Dr. Parsaian and Dr. Arabi, Bureau of Cultural Research, fifth edition 2013)

    7- Impact on strategic decisions

Theoretical definition: the art and science of formulating, implementing and evaluating multiple task decisions that enable the organization to achieve its long-term goals (Strategic Management, Fred R. David, translators Dr. Parsaian and Dr. Arabi, Cultural Research Bureau, 3rd edition 2011)

    8- Increasing productivity

Theoretical definition: Productivity is the ratio of the total value of the product produced to the total value of the inputs It is consumable.
