in the field: business management with a focus on marketing

    Abstract:

The present research has investigated the effect of administrative automation on the improvement of decision-making by the managers of Kermanshah Governorate and headquarters". In terms of the purpose, this research is of an applied type, and in this research, a survey method was used to collect information, so it can be classified as a field research.

In this research, 30 managers of Kermanshah governorate benefit from administrative automation, by completing the questionnaire prepared by Pezuheshgar, they evaluated the administrative automation system based on the determined variables. Attitude evaluation "

Likert's assumptions raised in this research are:

The automation system has a positive effect on increasing the accuracy of managers' decision-making.

The automation system has a positive effect on increasing the accuracy of managers' decision-making.

The automation system has a positive effect on the timeliness of managers' decision-making.

The automation system has a positive effect on the economicness of managers' decision-making.

In this research and according to the fifth chapter and the conclusions contained in it, as well as the fourth chapter, which is the analysis of hypotheses, we came to the conclusion that there was no evidence to reject the four hypotheses with the defined indicators of accuracy, precision, timeliness, and economy.

The basic point is that the research process never ends, and the findings of any research are always considered experimental, and there is this awareness that it may be proven in further research that the results were incorrect. .

    Key words: automation, decision-making, management

    Chapter One

    Generalities of the research

    Introduction:

In the constantly changing conditions, we must also change, and if not, we will pay a heavy price for not changing.

Organizations in the new era cannot avoid using computer systems and information technology and advanced media, and the future belongs to those who, with accurate and correct knowledge, carefully consider the merits and demerits of these systems and learn from the experience of others without bearing the costs of that experience again. Each unit of time saved is more valuable than the previous one. In this way, a positive feedback loop is created that accelerates the acceleration. Green), 2001, p. 23)

The rapid expansion of the computer in recent decades has brought about the most important change in the knowledge system since the invention of printing in the 15th century or even from the invention of writing. Parallel to this extraordinary change, the expansion of networks and new media has come, which is equally amazing and its work is to move knowledge and its constituent elements, namely data and information. What managers do at different levels of the organization and always move in its space, decision-making can be considered gathering and processing information (Sarafizadeh, p. 56). : 1380)

Having accurate, relevant, timely and fast information will increase the speed and accuracy of decision-making and will prevent many wrong decisions. In this schedule, an effective manager is not able to lead the organization and achieve the predetermined goals without having the information he needs.

    1- Statement of the problem:

    1-1 Topic:

Investigation of the effects of administrative automation on improving the decision-making of governorship and headquarters managers

Management and decision-making are two words that are close together in the management and conduct of the organization's affairs, and without a doubt, decision-making is the most important task of senior managers. It is easy to make a mistake in it. But if you look at the whole process in a different way, the situation will also be different.

Managers often think of decision-making as a single event that takes place at a specific moment in time. But in reality, decision making is a process mixed with the ultimate power play, politics, personal differences and organizational history. Leaders who have the power to recognize this issue. They make far better decisions than those who continue to believe that decisions are events under their control. This is why it is said that some decision-making processes are more effective and efficient than others (Garvin, p. 64:2001)

Most of the time, decision-makers use a biased process, which is perhaps the most unproductive and inefficient way to do things. They see decision-making as a conflict in which they defend the processing of their desired ways of doing things. They provide information selectively and by refraining from providing conflicting data, they can provide a convincing position and stand against the opposition. But there is a more effective process which is the search process.

During this process, people put a diverse set of options in front of them and search for the best solution together. Although in practice it is the leader who makes the final decision, but the person who participates in the decision-making process must believe that their point of view is considered and they have the opportunity to influence the final decision. When making a decision, access to accurate, relevant, correct and timely information is a very effective factor. The more complex the environment, the faster and faster the decision making becomes. The only thing that can make decisions easier and reduce distrust is relevant, accurate and timely information. Quality of information and. The efficiency of its process is manifested in its correctness, relevance, timeliness and desirability. The speed of the manager's decision-making and the correctness of his decision depend entirely on the quantity and quality of information that is available to him. Also, it provides the possibility of improving and enriching the decision for managers (Kraft 2002, p. 29). Today, the development and complexity of specialized organizations has made the traditional management of the past ineffective and management information systems are a phenomenon that can be considered as a characteristic of the transition from traditional management to "new effective" management. "Trial and error" analyzed the desired methods. Their information network was limited to a few trusted people, who were assigned at sensitive points, and sometimes the influence in such information networks provided the possibility of slandering the managers.

The old mechanisms of management information are not responsive to the complex conditions of the present, and it is not possible to deal with the problems of Bahraj, relying solely on the mentalities or limited reports and the words of the people involved. Managing affairs in effective and efficient ways requires the processing of a large amount of various information that grows at a fast rate and makes their analysis difficult.

Systemic approach for potential comprehensiveness leads to the integration and coordination of information in the organization, and the best case of systemic approach to organizations leads to the establishment of management information systems (MIS). It is carried out by managers. As a powerful supervisor, he is present at all levels of organizations and develops the knowledge field of the manager and provides his insight to make the right decisions.

The extensive and intense competition that exists at the international level, especially in the field of economic operations, requires that the management methods are also transformed like other factors, in order to ensure the survival of the organization. Management information systems will also be affected by transformation and dynamism. It seems impossible without the use of powerful computers today. Computers are able to store millions of data in their memory and, according to written instructions, analyze and summarize said data in various ways at an amazing speed and provide usable information to decision makers.

Computer is a valuable tool for working with information and data, especially numbers and figures. The widespread use of computers as a helpful tool in the fields of planning, management, decision-making and control is due to the special features and advantages that computers have.
