    Research overview

    Abstract

    Organizational communication has always been one of the major and important topics in organizations. With the advent of information and communication technology, tremendous changes in this field occurred in organizations. In recent years, the wave of use and utilization of administrative automation systems has swept our country, and many organizations show a great desire to use and utilize these systems. And they are willing to spend large sums of money to establish and use these systems. However, it should be checked to what extent such information systems overshadow the performance of employees and improve the quality of services provided. The research method is based on the purpose of the user and in terms of the nature and descriptive method - correlation is from the field branch. For this purpose, Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Organization (RA) of Ilam province was selected as a sample unit, and the statistical community consisting of the employees of the Relief Committee Organization was considered, using Cochran's method, 70 employees were selected as a sample. spss software indicates the existence of a very high relationship between the use of administrative automation in the organization of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (RA) in Ilam Province and the improvement of the employees' performance.

    1-1 Introduction

    In constantly changing conditions, we must change. Otherwise, we will pay a heavy price for not changing. payment. (Dr. Nordahl, 2002).

    Technology will play a vital role in the twenty-first century (Ellinson [1], 2002, p. 307) so that most organizations will be forced to use one type of technology as a way to renew their production capabilities and increase their competitiveness and flexibility. (Salanova [2] and others, 2004, p. 43-42).

    Based on the creation of different topics based on the speed of data transfer from one place to another and the possibility of quick and easy access to data, the topic of communication is not exempted from this topic and is of special importance. And since an important part of the communication of any organization is the correspondence of that organization, so the importance of this issue is also reflected in the correspondence of the organization.

    Having accurate, relevant, timely information, speeding up affairs, increasing accuracy and saving time will prevent many wrong decisions. In this schedule, an efficient manager is not able to lead the organization and achieve predetermined goals without having the necessary information.

    System Administrative automation has a great impact on the correctness, accuracy, economy, timeliness of decision-making by managers and headquarters and improves the performance of employees. In this research, the elements of the administrative automation system, such as the Internet, intranet, internal telephones, and their relationship with the performance of the employees of the Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Committee organization in Ilam province are examined. 2-1 Statement of the problem Administrative automation includes all formal and informal electronic systems that are related to the communication of information between people inside and outside the institution and vice versa. The main word that distinguishes office automation from data processing, management information system, and decision support system is communication. Office automation is to facilitate all kinds of communication, both oral and written. (Raymond[3], 1998). Office automation is the use of electronic devices in office activities to increase efficiency. Beneficial Manager. (Beheshtian, 1378).

    Administrative automation software with a view on workflow management is designed in such a way to manage all the correspondence work in the flow of an organization and will lead to the production and circulation of information and documents at the level of the organization and even at a level beyond an organization.

    There have been many debates about the usefulness of automation in companies and offices, but most experts have focused on its economic and managerial aspects to prove it, the possibility of quick exchange of correspondence, preventing multiple registrations, preventing unnecessary duplication of correspondence, the possibility of classifying correspondence in various categories and searching them quickly, the possibility of checking the performance of employees and various departments of the organization, eliminating paper during correspondence and the possibility of properly organizing devices according to information. The exact flow of correspondence and activities are the reasons that originate from this point of view. This research examines the relationship between administrative automation and improving the performance of employees in the organization of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (RA) in Ilam province.

    The benefits of using administrative automation is the most important condition for its application and use in most organizations, which leads to the expansion of communication channels at a faster rate. In this research, it is determined whether there is a relationship between the use of administrative automation in the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee organization of Ilam province and the improvement of employee performance?

    1-3 Analytical model of the research:

    Given the existence of different criteria for selection as the basic elements of automation, the researcher decided to analyze the key elements of this system with the technological experts of the research organization. which after many discussions and with the opinion of respected professors (Internet, intranet and internal telephone) were chosen as the basic elements of this system to conduct research.

    1 Importance and necessity of research

    The future is not where we go, but where we create it. That too with the ways we build for the future. National advantage emerges in countries where managers are not only interested in increasing efficiency, but their organizational moves are in line with the overall strategy. (If managers think that they can manage their company in the next ten years as they have done in the past ten years, they are very wrong, they must disrupt the status quo in order to succeed in the future) (Benis [4], 2011, p. 1). Organizations and economic institutions have such a fast growth. that time-consuming administrative processes are no longer acceptable.

    Therefore, it is necessary to provide a tool that can be used to carry out administrative processes with speed and accuracy and reduce costs. For this purpose, the use of the office automation system as a new method on the one hand speeds up work flows, and on the other hand, by collecting information on the organization's activities and classifying them, it provides a suitable platform for speeding up daily affairs.

    The concept of information has been vital throughout the history of the organization. History is full of cases where the presence of accurate and timely information has surprisingly changed a series of events in an uncertain environment. (Dibrell and Miller [5], 2002, p. 620).

    In general, the use of administrative automation in the organization increases accuracy, accuracy, speed, and also provides timely distribution of information. and it expresses the values, ideals and thoughts of the policy makers of the country. Strategic and national decisions based on the creation of an electronic government, the vision of Iran 1400, and as a result, strategic decisions in line with the vision and the clarification of goals and general implementation policies in the fourth development plans and the clarification of challenges and solutions to achieve the goals, the requirements of the global village in terms of communications, standardization of operations and improving the performance of employees and satisfying clients, as well as Iran's interest in entering the Jirga of the member states of the World Trade Organization and accepting Iran as an observer member after dozens of rejections of the request, a significant presence Iran, in international organizations and forums, and the emphasis of paragraph 4 of the transsectoral document on the expansion of public awareness and the development of technology and preliminary research, put forward the organizational system, of which turning to administrative automation is one of them. , p. 1).

    In 1997, the United States of America alone invested more than five hundred billion dollars in hardware, software, networks, and information technology services, and worldwide this investment reached one trillion dollars. (Merlin and Elikangas, [6] 1998, p. 28). Post-Fordist [7] has been taken into consideration (Masion 1999 [8], p. 360)
