Abstract:
Organizing and designing the entry way to cities is always considered one of the important issues in today's urban spaces. The reason for this is the transformation of the concept of the city and the category of entry and exit of the city in the eyes of people in the past. So that the first image of any city that was imprinted in the human mind was the images of the entrance and exit of the city, because this image was also a symbol of the way of life and culture ruling the region and the special climatic conditions of that region. However, due to the transformation in the concept and the transformation in the form and function of many urban elements, including the category of entry and exit points of cities, it led to the collection of criteria in this area in terms of the reconstruction of the entry concept according to its role and characteristics, which includes the areas of planning, design, and traffic. is the route, whose implementation is considered as a necessity in the area of ??the entry route of the cities.
The present research under the title: Spatial analysis of the entrance to the city (case study: Qazvin entrance to Rasht) has been carried out in five chapters using field data and library studies. The requirement is checked in one entry. Due to the lack of sufficient information in the relevant departments and organizations, most of the data in this research has been collected through field studies. Tables, graphs, maps, photos, and images have also been used in this research.
In this entrance, like many cities, proper entrance strategies have not been followed and the entrance route to Rasht has been formed spontaneously and without a plan without observing the necessary rules and regulations. Rasht has not paid attention to Qazvin.

Introduction
The components and elements of cities have undergone changes and transformations in their function and form over time, in the same way, the issue of input and output of cities has not benefited from this transformation. Due to human habitation in urban spaces and in terms of its dynamic characteristics, it is always undergoing transformations that take shape and form according to the daily needs of residents, therefore, in order to coordinate these needs with scientific principles and rules, and in terms of its better efficiency and application, it should be given special attention. Among the spaces that are more vulnerable in the course of developments, we can mention entry and exit points. The formation of inappropriate and irregular constructions, the formation and placement of travel-friendly uses on the edge of the entrance axis, the increase in accidents at the entrance and exit points due to the high volume of traffic and defects in the design of the axis, are among these vulnerabilities. Therefore, efforts have been made in the field of solving the above problems by the relevant authorities, the results of which can more or less lead to the improvement of the process of organizing input and output sources.
Researches have also been done in the past in this regard, among which the following can be listed:
- Seyed Amir Mahmoudi, 1387 in his doctoral thesis entitled "Introduction of the thinking model in urban design education" examines the background of thinking and the power of design thinking among the topics that are more popular today. It is under the influence of cognitivism.
- Qarib, 2011, in the article entitled Urban design criteria for city entrances, he writes: In the not-so-distant past, the borders of cities were defined by gates. Rasht) has been examined in the form of 5 chapters. In order to examine and explore the input and output principles with a comprehensive and systemic approach, and the result has been the presentation of optimal organizing strategies. In the first chapter, this research has stated the problem, objectives and needs of the research, hypotheses and the study area, and in the second chapter, it has paid attention to the theoretical foundations and experiences in this field. In the third chapter, the characteristics and characteristics of the studied area and in the fourth chapter analyzed the findings and information, and finally it led to the evaluation of assumptions and the presentation of conclusions and suggestions in the fifth chapter. Masoumeh Pourqoli Summer 9 Chapter 1 Overview of the research plan 1-1 statement of the problem and necessity of the research The entrance is the interface of connecting two places, not a wall to separate two spaces. Connecting two places is also possible only through a space that has a sense of place. Therefore, the entrance is a place created for an event, the meaning of which is the conscious entry and exit from one world to another.
The entrance to the city is the interface between the suburbs and the built space of the city, which establishes the relationship between the city and its surroundings in the form of an organized and systematic hierarchy. provides him, therefore, examining the entrance of the city is one of the most basic studies regarding the approach of urban spaces to achieve appropriate solutions in organizing the current entrance of cities, paying attention to the concept of entrance and understanding the phenomenon of this issue as well as paying attention to its characteristics is one of the most basic issues that must be considered in organizing the entrance of cities.
The entrance of cities is one of the main components of the physical and spatial structure of the city, which despite its importance in terms of physical, functional and aesthetic; By placing heterogeneous and incompatible uses, it has turned into a space with a separate structure, lacking identity, messy and ugly, which does not meet the expectations expected from an entrance. Indiscriminate and unplanned development of cities and not paying attention to appropriate spatial development patterns has caused that the entrance of Iranian cities, including the metropolis of Rasht, lacks the desirability and responsiveness of the environment, which has caused serious damage to the landscape and identity of cities. The quality of construction on the edge of the entrance in a scattered manner shows the lack of planning in the development process and the lack of supervision for these spaces, which has caused these spaces to have the least desirable features of the urban space. Therefore, by turning the entrance area of ??old cities (tower, rampart, and gate) into the entrance axis of current cities with ugly and dilapidated buildings and repair shops, polluting production jobs, and abandoned spaces. We are facing The current quality of the entry points of many cities does not create a good image of the city in the eyes of the audience. Therefore, it seems necessary to improve the condition of the entrance to the city in order to increase the quality of the urban environment and create tourist attractions. Now this question is raised that how should the entrance of the city be organized while maintaining the physical, cultural, spatial values ??and the spatial-spatial fit with the urban uses required by citizens and tourists?
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the spatial and physical and functional quality of the entrance of the metropolis of Rasht as an attractive and communicative touristic city, and an attempt has been made to, based on a structural point of view, using spatial patterns and appropriate solutions, the entrance of the metropolis of Rasht, which is the embodiment of the identity of the entire city complex and the first impact examined the visual and mental perception of newcomers to the city; And the solutions to adapt the urban environment from a confused, chaotic and ugly environment to an attractive, harmonious, integrated, efficient one with a national and cultural identity and in accordance with the climate and specific to induce the feeling of entering the city. The entrance space, which is the showcase of the city's identity and the values ??hidden in it
The current entrance of the cities has turned into a place of garbage accumulation, garbage dump and exile of "disturbing classes". Therefore, planning and re-forecasting a forgotten part of the city in a new way and with an expression in harmony with the needs of the day is one of the goals of this research.
Creating a lively environment that induces the identity, culture and climate of the city as an entrance gate to the city that arouses the enthusiasm of the traveler to enter the city and guides him to enter the interior of the city.
