    Dissertation for Master's Degree

Field: Business Management Major: Commerce Abstract: Today, choosing the best supplier among the number of suppliers is at the top of buyers' plans. Due to the fact that many different criteria are involved in traditional models for analysis and analysis, and this makes the decision-making process complicated and difficult for managers, today managers use new techniques such as multi-criteria decision-making model to choose and make the best decision. In this research, the fuzzy MADM method was used to prioritize the suppliers of the industrial company Niro Tevezeh. Fuzzy TOPSIS identifies the most important criteria for selecting suppliers and then selects the best supplier using the SAW technique. The result of this research will be used in all production organizations.

    Introduction

In the second half of the 20th century, the emergence and rapid growth of economic enterprises and companies led to a fundamental change in the laws governing production and the market. Company managers realized that apart from production and product related issues, they should pay special attention to other sectors such as the purchase of raw materials as well as customer related issues, which led to the creation of supply chain management[1]. In the supply chain, one of the most important and strategic issues is the right and principled selection of supplier 2 so that this supplier can cover the highest and highest needs and criteria of the company. Managers realized that it is not appropriate to use the traditional method (based on the suggested price) to select the supplier, because in addition to the price, many issues such as: warranty, fulfillment of obligations such as the time and place of orders, quality discounts, duration of cooperation, etc. are involved in the quality and quantity of product production and even sales. In this field, to analyze and analyze these many and different criteria, which were sometimes not of the same gender, and the complex issues of selection and decision-making required managers to use new techniques. One of these techniques was the use of multi-criteria decision-making models that could solve many problems in choosing the best decision.

In this research, a new model of fuzzy Topsis [2] method and fuzzy ANP method [3] is used to solve this problem. This method is one of the methods based on complete information preferred by the decision makers, the details of which will be explained in the third part of the research.

    1-2 statement of the problem:

After the passage of the production and market space from traditional and old methods and entering the modern and complex environment today and the inefficiency of the traditional and old techniques and tools of company managers, there is no other choice but to use them for the survival of companies and economic enterprises. They did not see new tools, models and solutions for their better decision-makers, because in this turbulent environment of markets and intense competition and the presence of strong competitors in the environment, sometimes even a wrong decision may set the company back from the competitors in such a way that the company cannot compensate for it and cause the destruction of the company. One of these methods and techniques is the use of supply management or supply chain. Production parts are from raw materials to customers. One of the most important and strategic parts in the supply chain is the supply chain of raw materials and suppliers. In today's world, in every field and industry, there are many suppliers for the supply of raw materials and parts, which managers can choose the best according to the existing conditions, and on the other hand, they have realized that the traditional and old method is no longer possible, because managers have realized that many criteria other than price, such as quality, warranty, cooperation period, and delivery time are of special importance.

Now the important question that arises is how and in what way and method managers choose the best supplier, and in other words: what is the method of choosing the best supplier considering the many existing criteria and many suppliers?

There are various solutions to solve this problem, one of the ways is to use the fuzzy MADM [4] technique. A suitable work method has been done for the managers of this research to make better decisions. The most important issue in this research is to find an answer to these questions:

Will the use of the fuzzy MADM method lead to the selection of the best supplier without the personal involvement of experts?

1-3 The importance and necessity of the research:

Choosing the best supplier is always one of the main and important concerns of managers, because by choosing the right and appropriate supplier, managers will succeed in making more profit for their company. To choose the best supplier, many solutions have been provided, each of them has advantages and disadvantages. Due to the existence of multiple criteria and indicators in the selection of suppliers, which sometimes have ambiguity and are not of the same type, a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making model is proposed. According to what was mentioned, the prioritization of suppliers was considered as a multi-criteria decision making problem. One of the advantages of this model is the non-unification of criteria units and the analysis of quantitative and qualitative criteria at the same time. 1-4 Basic objectives of conducting research and the main question: 1-4-1 Scientific objectives: Selecting and presenting a technique that can be used to choose the best supplier. 1-4-2 Practical objectives: Prioritizing the suppliers of the propulsion company with Fuzzy MADM

The result of this research will be used in all production organizations.

1-4-3 The main question of the research:

According to the numerous criteria and indicators of the suppliers of the propulsion company, by using the fuzzy MADM method, which suppliers are prioritized over other suppliers?

    1-5 Research assumptions

Considering the applicability of this research and the use of mathematical models (MADM) and fuzzy logic for the selection of suppliers, there is no hypothesis that we want to reject or accept.

    1-6 Research users

The results of this research are used in manufacturing companies, but the main beneficiary of this research is the propulsion company.

    1-7 Research method

Considering that this research is theoretical and practical, the method Appropriate research is a case study. This method provides a comprehensive and extensive picture in a special case, and the researcher analyzes all the cases that are relevant in a specific context, trying to control as many unwanted variables as possible and examine more independent variables. In this method, the previous and current situation in the field that is discussed will be examined, and often comparative studies will also be done, and a wide and extensive comparison will be made in the field that is desired with other cases and indicators, and then suggestions will be presented.

To conduct a contextual case study, the first step is to deal with the situation of the problem, based on which the issue is formed, and based on the issue, questions, goals, and statement of the issue are raised. After collecting the data and answering the questions, it becomes possible to access the main and secondary goals. In this research method, the truth is explored, that is, what should be. 1-8 Information Collection Method The information collection method in this research is a combination of field and library methods because it will be used according to the need, and its tools are databases, magazines, books, and the Internet. 1-9 Information collection tools

    Collection tools are:

    1-9-1 Study:

To collect basic concepts and theoretical assumptions

    1-9-2 Viewing and reviewing documents:

To collect the required information related to the relationship between data and data.

    1-9-3 Expert interview:

To use opinions Experts related to the subject of research and obtaining the required information. 1-9-4 Phishing: To collect the required information from sources and articles related to the subject of research. 10-10 methods of analysis. Decision-making method with multiple indicators: It is used when the options are predetermined and the purpose of choosing one of the options is Available through their comparison in the presence of multiple indicators affecting the preference of options. Among the various methods that exist in the field of decision making with multiple indicators, the ANP method was chosen for this research.
