Iran is one of the countries producing handicrafts in the world, and the production of various handicrafts has made Iran one of the most important and famous countries in this field. These industries, which are mixed with the culture and art of the nation and its historical age, are one of the important attractions to attract the attention of the world to our country.

The special attention that has been given to handicrafts and its impact as a matter of employment and family income in the last two decades can show its important position in tourism and tourist attraction. (Qazvin province handicrafts website).                      Tourism has a long history from a cultural point of view, but from an economic perspective, it is a relatively new phenomenon in international exchanges. This phenomenon has such speed and quality that in a very short period of time, it has been able to occupy a large part of global exchanges.                                                                                      On the other hand, studies have shown that there is a direct relationship between the number of tourists and the resulting income in the major countries that produce handicrafts. Handicrafts represent the industry and art of the ancestors, and the art and taste of the people of each country, and it can be considered as the place of artistic creation of the people of a country and the taste and taste of the contemporaries.

In the geographical zoning, Iran's handicrafts are divided into five regions, the northwest and west regions are comprised of several provinces. Among the traditional arts and handicrafts of this land, we can mention painting and gilding, painting behind the glass, embroidering, flower embroidery, pen weaving (card weaving), carpet weaving, carpet weaving, jajim weaving, needlework, mirror work, lock making, inlay work. Also in music, this city's geniuses such as Abolhasan Iqbal Azar, Arif Qazvini, Qamar Maluk Waziri has gifted land to Iran.

Today, some handicrafts such as carpet weaving, carpet weaving, financial felt, wave weaving, instrument making, etc. constitute the main cycle of the economy of many urban and especially rural families in Qazvin city. And if supported by the relevant bodies, many other handicrafts of this city such as pottery, mosaic work, inlay work, etc. can also find great prosperity and play an important role in the economy of Qazvini families. Handicrafts of Qazvin province).

One of the important goals of this research in the studied area is that, while examining the positive effects of this industry in attracting tourists, the weak and strong points of this industry will be investigated and understood in detail so that in the future we can witness more development and developments in tourism in Qazvin city with a new approach to handicrafts.

Therefore, according to the range of handicrafts in Qazvin city and the tourism potential of this city, the present study tries to examine the role of handicrafts in the development of tourism and to answer the following main question:
