    Prediction of career success based on personality traits and character

    in flight and ground staff of an airline company

    Abstract:

    This research aims to investigate the prediction of career success of an airline company staff based on personality traits (based on character and character); the statistical population includes all flight and ground staff consisting of 480 people using random sampling The number of 171 was selected as a correlational research method; two questionnaires (occupational success and personality questionnaire) were used, and the data were analyzed using multivariate analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that the average score of the subjects of the ground staff group was significantly higher than the subjects of the flight staff group. But in the dimension of reward, dependence and cooperation, the findings showed that the average scores of the ground staff group are significantly lower than the flight staff group. Also, the results of the regression showed that the characteristics of nature and character predict about 26% of career success in the flight group, and in fact, the dimensions of innovation, injury avoidance, and self-management explain a significant share of the variance of career success in the flight group, while the characteristics of nature and character predict about 13% of career success in the ground group, and among these dimensions, the dimension of innovation accounts for a significant share of the variance.

    Prediction of Job Success Based on Temperament and Character Factors in Flight and Ground Personnel in an Airline

    Abstract: This study aims to predict the career success of staff an airline company based on personality characteristics (base on theory of temperament and character). Sampling is crew and ground staff, including 480. who were using random sampling, the number 171 was chosen as the method is descriptive correlation method, to collect the data is used from the two questionnaires (a successful career and the temperament and character inventory Cloninger), the result was shown that, the average test score of Harm Avoidance dimension of the staff group was significantly higher than in compared with crew member. But the reward dependence and cooperativeness score indicates that the ground staff group mean is significantly lower than the crew member is more. The findings indicate that the personality characteristics of temperament and character predicted 26 percent of career success on Group flying and 13 percent on Group staff, Novelty Seeking a significant proportion of the variance in career success sample to explain.
