Tourism as a cross-sectoral activity has directly and indirectly affected other economic sectors. With the expansion of urbanization, cities have become important tourist destinations. Meibod city can be a destination for interested tourists with its rich and lasting historical potential of religious rituals. In this research, he investigated the ways of tourism development with emphasis on historical and attractive monuments. Analytical-descriptive method and 611 questionnaires distributed to all citizens and tourists were used. In the next part, the inferential findings from the chi-square test were discussed by SPSS on the relationship between the options.

Key words: tourism trend, tourism, tourist attractions, factors affecting the development of tourism

Tourism development can provide all-round development in all fields. A development that improves people's living standards in a privileged and reasonable process. Surveys show that the statistical estimation of tourist demand depends on the number and variety of attractions. And if it is possible to present a series of attractions to tourists instead of a single feature of attractions, the coefficient of permanence will increase and the result of tourism development will follow.

The city of Meibod, due to the high and authentic culture of the people and the hard work of the people of the city, and being located in the transit from the south to the north of the country and close to the capital of the province, and the rich and high and unique potential of historical monuments with national registration and being introduced as a special tourism area and holding nature tourism, historical, religious and desert tourism tours at the same time It can be placed as a special area and suitable destination for domestic and foreign tourists by having a comprehensive tourism development plan.

Statement of the problem and the necessity of research:

Tourism, which is rightly called the industry of the 21st century, is considered a very diverse and complex business, the set of activities and relationships that are formed within the framework of tourism are generally not well known to the people, travelers perceive attractive and pleasant aspects of the activities of this industry in practice without to know a considerable part of the planning, actions and activities behind the scenes, and to be aware of the very serious and of course precise capacity and sensitivities of this industry, tourism is changing moment by moment with the advancement of technology and changes in the lifestyle interests and socio-economic and political conditions of the origin and destination communities, therefore, this industry must also traditionally keep itself fresh along with these developments and become new and fresh every time.

Tourism has many positive effects and consequences on the economic, natural, social, and cultural status of the world and has been able to attract the attention of the public and private sector. Tourism provides an opportunity to increase job opportunities and foreign exchange income and tax income. Developing and developed countries pay special attention to the development of the country through tourism-related matters. The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the developing countries, and the country's policy makers have paid a lot of attention and effort to develop the tourism sector as a factor to introduce civilization, cultural, historical and natural heritage to the world and a means to achieve economic development. Iran's rich cultural and natural resources and attractions, many of which are unique, have made Iran to be considered as one of the important tourism destinations. They built Shahi with the necessary facilities (including guideposts for travelers, numerous caravanserais and shelters, appointing special officers to maintain the road, etc.), Iranians showed that they pay special attention to hospitality and tourism. The construction of numerous roads in the history of Iran, including the silk road during the Parthian era and the Mashhad-Karbala road during the Safavid era, with the necessary facilities, confirms this statement. In history, Iran has been one of the best countries for tourists and this is clearly evident in their travelogues. For example, Chardin, a famous French traveler during the Safavid period, writes in a part of his book: "In the whole world, there is no country like Iran for travel and tourism, either in terms of low risks and road safety that is carefully taken care of, or in terms of low expenses due to the large number of public buildings for travelers throughout the empire, free accommodation in them and the existence of flat roads and bridges in inaccessible places for Caravans and travelers of the country.

Today, the tourism industry is so important in the economic and social development of the countries that economists have called it "invisible export". They do not travel to this province. Shahr Mibod has important tourism, geographical, economic and religious features. The city of Meibod has a precious treasure of man-made historical monuments and precious religious rituals and a pristine and untouched social fabric. During the past decade, Meibod tourism has been one of the main topics of discussion and planning in Yazd province, which has been done due to the request and cooperation of the hardworking and culture-loving people of Meibod, who in many cases voluntarily and voluntarily helped to preserve the cultural heritage of their city.
