    Abstract

In this research, popular culture has been defined and investigated, considering that the current era is an era of extensive changes and developments, and communication technology is one of the important tools in the transfer and exchange of information and culture. The role and importance of culture is more important than any other era. One of the most important cultural issues that has received little attention is the discussion of popular culture. Popular culture included issues and issues that ordinary people faced, what researchers call folklore, which includes traditions, beliefs and norms that people lived with continuously and were passed down from one generation to the next. Many of these concepts include religious teachings. Religious concepts in our country cover a large part of our oral and popular culture, and many of these popular cultures have been created due to the presence of these concepts.

Nowadays, the topics of popular culture have expanded and include more issues. With the arrival of the media, the role of popular culture is more visible. This attention to the masses was more and more welcomed by the people because people identified with a life similar to theirs and the media showed what they wanted. There are many Iranian films of this kind. If we name the lasting films of Iranian cinema, all the heroes who have become role models for the people and the youth came from the hearts of the people themselves. The memorable film Qaiser is an example of these films.

But the film that is examined in this essay The film is as simple as this by Seyyed Reza Mir Karimi. In this research, several cultural components are mentioned in this film.

Keywords: culture - popular culture - folklore - subcultures

From the beginning of the 20th century and with the advent of photography, cinema and the methods of reproducing and reproducing works of art in some western societies, the importance of studying and evaluating popular culture became evident. It was between art and everyday life.

The spread of modern mass culture in the 20th century through mass media has provoked various reactions, so that powerful groups usually look down on mass culture and often seek to exercise cultural control. to do We are dealing with people, with social system, culture, history, land, etc. Society is ultimately dealing with culture, and depending on the level at which we present the society, we can also present culture at that level. For example, our architecture is full of mystical and Islamic themes.

The ideal point in the film industry in our country is to mix religious culture with popular culture and achieve an effective religious media. The teachings of Saadat Bakhsh are very important, therefore, it is necessary for a committed filmmaker to pay attention to religious culture in a favorable and effective way while presenting popular culture.

1-2- Necessity and importance of the topic:

The media have become so established in modern day-to-day life that they have become one of the inseparable elements of the cultural fabric of recent modernity.

Discussions related to Knowledge, identity, taste, taste, and lifestyle, which are among the representative features of the culture of late modernity, are conceptualized and operationalized without exception by individuals through the consumption of texts and media images. The power of media representation can be seen on several levels, for example, dominant ideas about national identity or culture in contemporary society are formed in different ways. The power of media representation can be seen on several levels, for example, dominant ideas about national identity or culture in contemporary society are formed in ways that are represented in major daily media such as television and cinema. .

"Folklore of every nation is like a biography and a description of the condition and character of the members of that nation, and it is the main factor and indicator of the characteristics and portrays customs and habits, and illuminates historical records and shows the intellectual evolution and social evolution of the people, and more importantly, in a vast land like Iran, whose cities and villages are scattered and far from each other in the east, west, north, and south, and the people of each place have their own special accent and culture, when the folklore of each region or If we examine and study each task separately, we will see that despite the apparent differences, the basic root, origin, and source of all of them are the same. (Mustafa Khalatbari p. 137)

The new world is changing due to growth and development; progress and technology have filled the place of many things for mankind, but with all this, the need for religion is felt and there are people who are interested in this field; even those who do not have much connection with religion talk implicitly about spirituality; even considering the cultural diversity that exists in the world, in all these cultures we see that religion is talked about. These issues encourage us to expand religious concepts, but in new formats that affect the contemporary world, no one can deny that there is a gap in the developments that can be seen in appearance and thought, and it is religious concepts that fill the gaps.

In Iranian films, the religious components in popular culture are less discussed or expressed in an unprofessional and unartistic manner. As mentioned, the culture of the intellectuals It includes ten percent of the society and the rest includes the popular culture of the common people. Most of the films that are made deal with the issues and problems of this ten percent and are far from the atmosphere of the other ninety percent. This is why cinema has lost its audience in the last few years. It is a society that no film maker has touched. On the other hand, our culture is full of religious concepts and elements, which if properly applied and used, we will solve many problems. Dealing with this category is one of the important issues that have remained far away from the point of view of filmmakers and programmers.

Now the time has come for committed filmmakers to learn how to navigate the religious components of popular culture and start making programs and opening the way by writing programs. Serials or movies to raise and present the problems of the popular class related to the weakening of religious elements in popular culture. 1-3- Research objectives: Main goal: how to find the religious elements of popular culture in Iranian films. 2- What is the place of religious concepts in the healing culture of people?

    1-5- Research assumptions

Considering the progress and scientism, the religious concepts needed by society and mankind are still provided through dealing with and communicating with religious concepts, and it is considered the only way to happiness for mankind. None of the electronic and communication tools of the present age have been able to diminish the feeling of the need for spirituality and religion.
