    Abstract:

The effectiveness of free performing arts has a historical background. Playwrights have always paid special attention to the works of world writers. To write their plays and screenplays, they have benefited from histories, anecdotes, characters, myths, literary themes, stories, literary battles, and debates, and they have been able to draw their screenplays or plays from the sentences, scenes, and events in their works and lives. is that they can be obtained and taken into consideration. Imam Javad (AS) is one of these personalities. It includes the life of Imam Javad (a.s.) and parts of it in which his debates took place, especially his three debates with Yahya Ibn Aktham and Ahmad Ibn Abi Dawud, which have dramatic features. Each of these debates has scenes that are important in terms of examining the performance capacities. For this reason, this research aims to answer the question of whether there are demonstrative capacities in the mentioned debates or not. And he has based this analysis based on the ideas about stories and dramas, citing the theories of James Thomas, Sam Smiley and Aristotle, and has focused on two elements (dialogue and character) as the common point of stories, dramas and debates. The method of collecting information is through a library. The obtained results show that the debates of Imam Javad (a.s.) are in accordance with the performance capacities with the approach of character and dialogue according to the theories of James Thomas, Sam Smiley and Aristotle.
