    Abstract:

The aim of this research was to explain the relationship between the feeling of attachment and emotional failure with happiness. In terms of its nature and objectives, this research is scientific and correlational method was used for its implementation. The statistical population of this research included 1080 male and female daily high school students in Darudzen region in the academic year of 2012-2013, of which 283 were selected using Morgan's table as the sample size. to collect data from Oxford happiness questionnaires; Antonovsky's sense of attachment and the Toronto Emotional Dysfunction Questionnaire were used, and their validity and reliability were confirmed. At the level of inferential statistics, Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression analysis were used simultaneously. The results of the research showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the dimensions of feeling connected with happiness, and among the dimensions of emotional inadequacy, there is a negative and significant relationship between the dimensions of inability to identify emotions and inability to express emotions with happiness. Also, the findings of the research showed that the sense of connectedness predicts happiness positively and emotional inadequacy negatively predicts happiness, and among the dimensions of sense of connectedness, comprehensibility and controllability are the strongest predictors of happiness, and among the dimensions of emotional insufficiency, the inability to identify emotions negatively is the strongest predictor of happiness. Also, the results of the study showed that the feeling of connectedness is a stronger predictor of happiness than emotional inadequacy, and in general, a high feeling of connectedness makes people happy. Keywords: sense of connectedness, emotional insufficiency, happiness. There are words that, from a literary point of view, have almost a common meaning, but from a psychological point of view, each of them presents a different message.

Happiness is one of the most important psychological needs of humans, which has a major impact on the formation of personality and mental health. Growth, vitality and mental vitality of man has always been the focus of researchers due to the significant impact it has on all aspects of human personality and the way his various behaviors appear. Since Martin Seligman[2] (2002) introduced the approach of "Positive Psychology[3]" to the psychology community, about twelve years have passed and in this short period of time we have witnessed the emergence of a new school with different theories, phenomena and concepts. Although these modern concepts and terms have been discussed and challenged by Greek, Indian and Iranian philosophers and scientists since the beginning of human knowledge, but Seligman and his colleagues, using the scientific method and classification of concepts, were able to introduce a complete set of these words in a new school of thought called the positive approach.

In 2002, Martin Seligman (2002) expressed the theory of happiness which Aristotle's "Eudaimonia[4]" is very similar, it took a big step towards the definition of happiness. . Aristotle considered happiness to be good, to do good and to live in its shadow, and following this statement, Seligman has stated that true happiness is the achievement of identifying and developing abilities (curiosity, life force, and appreciation) in play, work, and love (Seligman, 2002).

During recent years, the examination of the experience of happiness has also increased by psychologists and sociologists, and psychologists interested in the field of psychology Positive psychology has focused its attention on the potential benefits of positive emotions, such as the feeling of happiness; Because it can be seen as one of the components of mental health.

In every society, a part of planning to have a desirable and effective future is done in the education and training of that society. Where the seeds of hope and vitality of every society grow in it, and without a doubt, if the students who are full of strength and unspoiled capacities have mental health and vitality and intellectual and physical freshness, they play a decisive role in determining the fate of the future.

The planners, practitioners and officials of the society, with the support they will have from the growing generation, can increase the mental health of people and develop their inner talents. Therefore, the current research seeks to find out the relationship between the feeling of connectedness and inadequacy. Therefore, the current research seeks to investigate the relationship between the feeling of attachment and emotional inadequacy with happiness. 1-2 Statement of the problem One of the divine blessings that God has bestowed on man is the blessing of health, one of the dimensions of which is the psychological dimension. One of the psychological needs of human beings, which is very important, is happiness and cheerfulness in life. Happiness gives meaning to life and causes mental cheerfulness, health, and increased abilities. A happy person can reach the heights of success and play a constructive role in society. Happiness and cheerfulness are among the pervasive states of human personality, which have a tremendous impact on his attitudes, beliefs, feelings and behavior and can change and transform all aspects of his personality in the present and future (Goldbrick [5], 2000, quoted by Aksian, 2013).

Happiness [6] as One of the most important human needs has always occupied the human mind. Happiness is a state of happiness and contentment (positive emotions), being satisfied with life and the absence of depression and anxiety (negative emotions) (Argyle [7], 2001). Rajas [8] (2007) defines happiness as a set of emotions and a kind of cognitive evaluation of life. He considers it a degree of people's quality of life, which is generally evaluated positively. Happy people see themselves as possessing positive characteristics that have control over their life events. Happiness has positive consequences on people's lifestyle and academic success, and increases the desire to engage in behaviors that are associated with academic success. This explanation is rooted in many studies that have stated that happiness leads to attractive and productive activities. Happiness as a positive emotion can facilitate interpersonal relationships and have wide positive consequences on cognition, level of social activity and health (Alipour et al., 2019). Due to the importance of the impact of happiness on different areas of life, it is necessary to discuss the methods of creating and increasing happiness. Many researches have been conducted in the field of identifying the traits of happy people, some traits such as social relationships, self-control, self-esteem, etc. They have diagnosed for happy people. Albert Kesten [9] (2003) believes that experiencing stress reduces the feeling of happiness, that is, the more stress a person experiences, the less his happiness and threatens mental health. In recent years, it is believed that having happiness in mind and designing plans to be happy increases happiness, and happiness is often associated with optimal functioning and mental health, and is related to a sense of connectedness. The sense of connectedness [10] is a construct that was expressed by Antonovsky [11] (1993) to show a successful confrontation against life's stressors. Antonovski (1993) has defined the feeling of connectedness as a structure that shows the general direction of the person and the feeling of trust and continuous and comprehensive dynamics in his life and the world around him. The feeling of connectedness makes a person understand the internal and external stimuli received in life in a more organized, predictable and explainable way. In simpler terms, the feeling of connectedness refers to a person's perception and feelings that life is comprehensible, controllable and meaningful for him. Antonovsky (1993) believes that the sense of attachment grows during childhood and adolescence and this growth continues until the age of 30 (Schneider, Bucci, Senesky and Kalaghfer[12], 2000). , Northwood and Natwig [14] (2009) showed in a research that the feeling of connection has a positive relationship with social functions and physical well-being and happiness.

Another variable related to happiness is emotional inadequacy Palmer, Donaldson and Stock [15] (2002), emotional inadequacy is a personality structure characterized by a lack of imagination, low capacity for symbolic thoughts and the inability to experience and express positive emotions. Emotional failure refers to a state in which a person has difficulty understanding his processing and emotions (Sipheneus [16], 1973).
