First semester of academic year 92-93

    Abstract:

The purpose of this discussion is to examine the concept of cultural centers and the importance of its existence in the intellectual and moral education of young people, who made up a large part of the population of today's society. The necessity of research is because, despite the importance of the place of cultural centers and its influence in the spatial and social structure of today's urban development, it is also used in creating the goal and motivation and intellectual development of young people. Cultural centers are a well-known and common subject in most urban societies of the world, especially in societies where the concept of democracy and people's sovereignty over their destiny is valid. A cultural center, in its general sense, is a place belonging to the people of the city and separate from the administrative organization of the municipality, which is designed for the presence of citizens and social life.

Teheran District 22 is now considered the westernmost limit of the city of Tehran. Among other areas of Tehran, this area is a relatively young and newly built area and has been attacked by new constructions in the area. Therefore, this area is a suitable place for designing cultural centers and creating a platform for the growth and development of young people and taking advantage of their abilities in the direction of entrepreneurship and the further development of the country. We will discuss and finally by stating the characteristics of the 22 region, we will design the desired site in this region. 1-  statement of the problem  :

Young people are especially important as the future builders of society. Most advanced societies design short-term and long-term programs for their young people to prepare for accepting this important role. The mental health of young people is a very important issue; But it is often neglected. It is obvious that the future of the country is in the hands of the youth and they are the ones who should create a better tomorrow. Currently, the largest part of the world's population is made up of people under 25 years of age. Most of the problems and mental disorders started during adolescence and continue until adulthood, and if not treated, it imposes severe emotional and social consequences on individuals and societies. Primary prevention and promotion of mental health of young people and timely diagnosis of mental problems and disorders of young people are very cost-effective and reduce the personal and social consequences of mental disorders. One of the best ways to recognize a young person is to leave the work to him, as we should plan in such a way that the young person can do many things himself and can show his initiative and creativity and think in a context ready for his emergence and wonder. Considering the sensitivity and importance of this period of life, the spiritual and psychological needs and especially the social needs of young people should be answered well. Paying attention to cultural needs and identifying them has long been desired in human societies, especially among young people, this issue is more important. By recognizing the cultural needs, the cultural identity becomes more original and the cultural assets, namely knowledge, skills, techniques, science and technology, are developed. Resorts can make this important thing attainable by providing facilities, and neglecting the above points will lead to the youth being guided by people who identify this need in the youth and lead them to inappropriate paths of superstition and anti-normative behavior.

Now, considering the above, the basic issue of this research is whether it is possible to design suitable patterns of leisure behavior for them in order to achieve the lofty goals of society by taking into account a space for purposeful recreation and recreation of the youth.

1- 2-  Background of the research:

Today, the problem of abnormality and delinquency of teenagers and young people has become one of the most acute social problems of different societies. The emergence of societies and committing crimes have been associated with each other since the beginning; Because since the day when people gathered together and formed a society, the anomaly has been accompanied and spread with them. The penetration of behavioral abnormalities among teenagers and young people who are the social builders of tomorrow and its rooting has caused more fear and concern. Humans are always influenced by the space and place of their life. Research has shown that mental and spiritual aspects are influenced by physical aspects. (Praised, 1373, p.(Sotoudeh, 1373, p. 73)

Young people's free time and their ways of spending it, at the same time that in any society it can represent social and cultural changes and be considered a window for the entry of cultural innovations, in many cases it can also be a source of threat and disorder and the issue of generational divide. From this point of view, the relationship of these leisure activities and styles with the dominant culture in the society is of special political, social and cultural importance.

Among the similar successful domestic examples, we can mention the Isfahan Cinema Cultural Center (Farshchian Cultural Complex), which was designed by Farhad Ahmadi and dates back to the late sixties, one of the successful projects in this field. The starting point and idea of ??designing the architect's view from the back of the Safavid festival. In fact, in the first step, the main elements of the celebration space have been recreated using the water facade, the bridge and the surrounding arcades. The main volume of the building, which is located in the perspective and a little far away, takes the symmetry that it presents along the longitudinal axis to the third dimension with the help of the water feature, and at the same time leaves the viewer alone with himself and the architectural work, and invites him into the building.

Other successful domestic examples in this field include the "Dezful Cultural Center" He mentioned another work by Farhad Ahmadi.

Foreign examples that are similar to the present project in terms of studies, concept, and form can be found in the "Cultural Center of Heydar Ali Of" Designed by Zaha Hadid. Other investigated examples are the cultural centers of Guangzhou, China, Agora and Desconstalini in the Netherlands. (Chapter 3)

    Chapter Two: Fundamentals

    - 1- Youth

As mentioned in the introduction, the focus of the neighborhood center is the youth and spending his free time with an entrepreneurial approach and modifying his mental patterns.  Definition of youth

Youth is the time between childhood and middle age in the life of every person. It is approximately equal to the age of 20 to 40 years old. Youth is also associated with appearance, freshness, strength, spirit, etc. It is also defined as a person who is young. (McMillan, 1981, p. 115)

All over the world, the terms young and immature are often referred to as the same concept. Youth is a period of life that is neither childhood nor adulthood. Rather, it is somewhere between the two. When we say he is young, youth is a characteristic of a certain attitude of a person's behavior.
