    Abstract

The present research is practical in terms of method, survey and in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the current research consists of the administrators of Islamic Azad Universities in Ardabil province. To determine the sample size, Morgan's table was used, which was obtained with a confidence level of 95% that the sample size is equal to 66. to sample samples; A simple random sampling method was used. To collect the information needed for the research, two standardized questionnaires, Gardner Multiple Intelligence Questionnaire and Watson-Glass Critical Thinking Questionnaire were used. Reliability for multiple intelligence questionnaire is equal to 0.906 and for critical thinking questionnaire is equal to 0.832. In order to analyze the data obtained from the collected questionnaires, descriptive and inferential statistical methods have been used. In this way, to describe the answers given to the questions of the research questionnaire, the table of frequency and percentage of the answers related to each of the questions was used. And also to show some statistical data coherently, a column chart is used. And at the inferential level, Spearman's correlation test (r) has been used to test the hypotheses. The t test statistic was used to determine the significance level of r. The findings of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between the multiple intelligences of managers of Islamic Azad Universities in Ardabil province and their critical thinking. But there is no relationship in the dimension of musical intelligence.

Key words: multiple intelligence, critical thinking, manager.

    1-1-Introduction

According to educational psychologists, intelligence is a quality that causes academic success and hence it is considered a type of academic talent. To justify this belief, they point out that intelligent children get better grades in their subjects and have significant academic progress compared to less intelligent children. Opponents of this view believe that the quality of intelligence cannot be limited to grades and academic progress, because success in jobs and the type of work that a person is able to do, and generally progress in most situations in life, depends on the level of intelligence. is In other words, a person can be aware of his behavior and use his thinking power in dealing with different issues and matters (Shriyatmadari, 2019). Although interest in developing critical thinking skills [2] in educational circles is not a new phenomenon and the origin of such interest goes back to Plato's school (Myers, Abili translation, 2016). In order to have a dynamic and hard-working generation, we must learn the ways of judging society and thinking about our own and others' lives. 1-2- Title and subject of the research. The title of the research is (Investigating the relationship between multiple intelligences and critical thinking of managers of Islamic Azad Universities in Ardabil province)). The main subject of this research is to investigate the relationship between multiple intelligences and the level of critical thinking of managers of Islamic Azad Universities in Ardabil province.

    1-3-Statement of the problem

Managing an organization in order to adapt to changes and to survive and grow in new environments requires certain characteristics that managers generally face many problems to answer. Successful managers in the age of change and chaos are managers who can intelligently and competently bring the ship of the organization to its intended destination by using all types of intelligence.

In order to survive in today's turbulent and competitive environment, organizations must equip themselves with new organizational thinking methods and continuously improve themselves. In this context, one of the most important personality components that can help the managers and trustees of the organization. It is multiple intelligence and critical thinking that managers will be able to solve current issues by increasing their critical thinking ability (Mokhtaripour and Siadat, 2014).

For most organizations and individuals, intelligence and critical thinking They consider it a competitive advantage and strategic capability. In the global environment and market, intelligence and high critical thinking are considered the levers needed by leaders and managers. Organizations and managers who understand the strategic value of these can benefit from differences and diversity. to create a competitive advantage. Hence:

People with high intelligence and critical thinking are able to have a significant effect on different management strategies. These people are among the valuable assets of the organization and especially in times of crisis, they show their value more.

With the expansion of activities, the need for the ability to help managers in dealing with the various complexities of the environment is felt more and more. Therefore, managers who are able to understand world-class management complexities. In other words, if they have multiple intelligences and high critical thinking power, they will be more successful and better able to achieve organizational goals (Rahmani and Tehranpour, 2018, 40-42).

Gardner (1983) stated that every human being has at least seven natural intelligences. He announced these intelligences under the titles of linguistic or verbal intelligence[3], musical or rhythmic intelligence[4], logical or mathematical intelligence[5], visual or spatial intelligence[6], physical or kinetic intelligence[7], intrapersonal intelligence[8], interpersonal intelligence[9]. Also, in 1999, he added naturalistic intelligence [10] to seven other intelligences (Hosseinnejad and Baghizadeh, 1381, 44).

According to the topics mentioned in this research, we intend to measure the relationship between the multiple intelligences of Islamic Azad University administrators in region 13 and their level of critical thinking based on Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences and Watson and Glaser's critical concentration of critical thinking.
