    Abstract

Satellite has continued to penetrate society and family in Iran from the seventies until now, and sometimes with the passing of a few weeks we see the launch of several new satellite channels, the use of advanced technologies in satellite television programs and increasing day by day. Their attractiveness has caused people to behave abnormally and contrary to the values ??of their society. Avarand, the targeted expansion of satellite networks is one of the most important tools of cultural NATO to destabilize the social security system and collapse the family system. When Marshall McLuhan proposed the theory of the global village, few people believed that the satellite waves would attract all people around the world through television and form a smaller village than what McLuhan dreamed of.

The purpose of this research " Knowing the effect of watching satellite programs on individual values ??and family cohesion is"  The current research method is a descriptive survey type, the statistical population of this research is all people aged 25 to 65 living in District 3 of Tehran city, based on the Karjesi and Morgan table, 384 people were selected from the statistical population by a simple random and cluster method, according to the in-depth study of the theoretical foundations and research backgrounds in this field, a researcher-made questionnaire including 9 main components with 39 items and a response method based on the Likert scale from very little to very much

In relation to the questions raised in this research, the results showed that individuals and families use satellite and television programs to a different extent according to the social conditions in which they are located. The findings of this research show that, today, satellites as one of the main media and tools for the transmission and expansion of cultural and social values ??play an important and influential role in the thinking of young people and their families and social change. Endo's initiatives pave the way for the main goals of modern civilization, cultural domination and the promotion of Western values ??in the third world and all developing societies.

This research was conducted in order to know the effect of watching satellite programs on individual values ??and family cohesion in the 3rd district of Tehran. Satellite to our society, many changes in the field  Individual values ??and family cohesion have been created.

    Introduction:

Today's world is the "information and communication revolution" [1] Mass communication tools are the most complex tools. which were created in this period of time to inspire ideas, the efficiency and complexity of these devices are increasing every day, about 2 centuries have passed since the industrial revolution and the world is witnessing the increasing progress in communication technology and technology in the field of media[2] and its impact on their lives. With the emergence of the phenomenon  Globalization and its spread to the whole world, mass media became very important from the 1990s to this side, in addition to the huge and wide-ranging developments  political, such as the collapse of chivalry and the end of the bipolar system, another important and dramatic change took place in the field of culture, and that was the emergence of the satellite phenomenon, a new phenomenon that crossed political boundaries and connected the world with various cultures. Like other media and means of communication, it is basically a product of the West that has entered the country in recent years.

We can boldly say that we live in the age of media, an age in which mass media are an integral part of our lives, satellite and television are able to create any kind of change in society with acceptable popular methods, and there should be no doubt that these means of mass communication have an undeniable effect on changing the life of people in society and are an important part of everyday cultural learning. People are members of the society and with wide possibilities in presenting any idea in a more attractive and better way, they can act as a unique channel of communication that no tool can compete with. Many satellite channels have sought to attract consumers in countries by broadcasting various programs and especially advertisements for various products, and they have been successful in this to a large extent.

People's tendency towards satellite, especially in Islamic countries[5] including Iran, has affected the values[6], beliefs[7] and culture[8] of the society, in other words, satellite and television are cultural symbols through which religion, values ??and religious beliefs are affected. In these tremendous changes and developments, where satellite and television in particular and mass media in general are the main axis, our society has not been able to stabilize the traditional culture of the past or absorb the modern industrial culture completely. It has many effects on individual values ??and family cohesion. Undoubtedly, these effects can be both positive and negative. In addition to entertaining the audience, the producers of television programs also intend to present their desired messages to the audience. Undoubtedly, the complex content of satellite programs is not up to the standards of our society due to its production in other countries. Currently, thousands of satellite channels can be accessed using relatively cheap equipment, and the impact of such programs on the cultural components of society should be investigated. This research was done with the same purpose  By conducting this research, an attempt has been made to investigate the effect of watching satellite programs on people's values ??as well as family cohesion, this has been done by collecting information from the audience of such programs and the identified effects on each component have been examined separately. And human urbanization has a short life. To a large extent, this phenomenon owes its existence to newly emerging communication and information technologies. In this, mass media plays a very important role and every day a huge amount of information is provided to its global audience through the media. Newspapers, periodicals, magazines and television are among the most important media and the vast majority of information is exchanged through them. Among these media, television has taken the first place since the beginning due to its unique privileges compared to other media. With the invention of satellite‌ and broadcast television programs using it, television became the absolute master of the media and even the presence of the Internet and social networks [9] could not reduce its popularity much (Salarifar, 2015).

In addition to the increase in mass communication media, the social revolution of communication has also brought about the transformation of symbols and beliefs. In the shadow of this development, mass media have prepared the ground for the growth of awareness and recognition of human communities, and it seems inevitable that at the same time as the number of mass media, their impact on the identity and culture of different societies is significant. In fact, it can be said that the influence of the mass media on culture and social structures and the international system has caused the whole world to face a challenge called identity crisis, in the meantime, satellite programs have a more prominent role in this cultural evolution and transformation, especially in Iran, visual media such as satellite with entertainment and entertainment programs in the long run will unify the tastes of huge segments of the society, and on the other hand, this super media will create new class gaps and Meditation makes them. Television channels also communicate with all parts of the world through satellites, and the formatted culture of the transmitter of these symbols and messages is given to the receiver without any resistance and enters the family and then societies (Mohammadian, 2011, p. 52).
